Instructions for Filling the Admission Form

Candidate is advised to read and understand the following instructions carefully before filling out the Admission Form:

1. Choosing the Right Programme and College :Please refer the Admission Information Brochure for detailed information regarding the colleges wise programmes offered, their eligibility criteria, and fee structure.
2. Eligibility for Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Candidate, visit https://scholarships.punjab.gov.in.
3. Eligibility for Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) seats, visit Admission Information Brochure.
4. Registration and Fee Adjustment:Candidate who has already registered on the MRSPTU website, and paid Rs. 3,000/- as a pre-registration fee and/or paid Rs. 10,000/- for provisional admission are required to fill out this admission form again. The amount already paid would be adjusted against the semester fee. Moreover, the candidate should use the same ID and password to log in on Centralized Admission Portal except via applying through IKGPTU Centralised admission counselling.
5. The programmes have been categorized based on: Programme Type and Course Type. Refer: PROGRAMMES OFFERED AS COURSE TYPE ON ADMISSION PORTAL
6. Candidate has the option to apply for up to three programme choices and three college preferences in first two rounds of centralised counselling.
7. Candidate must ensure that the admission form is filled out accurately and must click on the 'Final Lock and Submit' button on the online portal upon completing the form.
8. Corrections in the Admission Form are allowed even after submission; however, the candidate need to send the email at [email protected] or contact admission cell for correction.
